MISS GABRIELLE

Owner, Director, Instructor

Gabrielle has been dancing since the age of 2. She has 10+ years of competitive dance training where she holds multiple regional and national titles. Gabrielle was part of her high school musical dance troupe and captain of her varsity cheerleading team. She also has 18 years of tumbling experience. Gabrielle has continuing education in Ballet at Point Park University and dance education training from Slippery Rock University where she trained in many styles from Ballet to African dance along with dance kinesiology and dance history. She holds a degree in Business Administration and 11 certifications from The National Dance Education Organization. Gabrielle was a sideline cheerleading coach for 4 years and a dance, acro and cheer instructor for 3 years until she opened Optimum Dance Complex in 2020. Gabrielle proudly holds awards for choreography, entertainment and high scores for pieces she has choregraphed for Optimum Dance Complex. She currently resides in Saxonburg with her fiancé and 2 dogs and cannot wait to share her passion and love for dance for another season!

MISS KATELYN

Dance Instructor

Katelyn has been dancing and tumbling since age . She trained under Miss Gabrielle for 5 of those years where she danced competitively winning multiple judges, regional and national awards. Katelyn continued her dance education at Slippery Rock University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Katelyn has been in numerous choreographed works that have been presented in Slippery Rock University’s Dance Theatre’s “Fresh Moves Showcase”, the BFA Dance Concert, and adjudication concerts. Katelyn has choreographed multiple solos that have been presented in showcases at SRU as well as the annual 60x60x60 Concert. She was involved in the National Honors Society of Dance Arts, Slippery Rock University Dance Theatre, as well as The Multidisciplinary Arts Collective. At Slippery Rock University, Katelyn took classes in dance technique, choreographic techniques, teaching dance, dance history, and kinesiology. Katelyn will be entering her third teaching year at Optimum this season!

MISS TESSA

Dance Instructor

Tessa has started her dance, gymnastics and cheerleading career at age 4. She has 9 years of competitive dance experience where she has won countless judges awards. Tessa proudly holds several regional and national titles. Tessa was a member of the Butler High School Sequinette Dance Team and performed in many invitational parades. She is currently in the BC3 PTA program with a goal to work with athletes after graduation. Tessa has trained under Miss Gabrielle for 6 years and successfully completed her student dance teacher training with Optimum and Miss Gabrielle in 2021. Tessa has choregraphed various pieces that have received judges awards and high score placements. This will be her third year as an instructor with Optimum Dance Complex!

MISS HALLEE

Dance & Tumbling Instructor

Hallee began dancing at three years old. To broaden her skills she attended multiple different programs for competitive cheerleading and gymnastics with 10 years of experience from nationally ranked coaches and gyms. Her cheer teams have brought home many regional and national titles, including a Cheersport National title. During her 6 years of competitive dance experience Hallee also received multiple regional and national high scores and judges awards. Hallee was captain of her high school cheer squad, in the National Honor Society, and competed in pageants. She is currently studying criminology at BC3. Hallee would like to share her fondest memories- winning the national title “Academy Queen” for her solo at Extreme Talent in 2023 and being able to make bonds/friendships with everyone who walks through the studio doors. She loves teaching kids and passing on the knowledge and skills, she has acquired throughout her dance/cheer career. This will be her second year with Optimum Dance Complex!
